Erlab USA welcomes Jeanne Qiu , AIA, LEED-AP, CDT
as Product Manager for GreenFumeHood Technologies                 

Rowley, MA; September 1, 2011 – Erlab, manufacturer of Captair and GreenFumeHood Technologies names Jeanne Qiu , Architect, as Product Manager for GreenFumeHood Technologies in the Midwest.

The addition of Ms. Qiu presents an exciting opportunity for Erlab; specifically GFH Technologies. With her extensive background in architectural design she will play a major role in consulting with architectural clients when designing environmentally-friendly science labs. Ms. Qiu is located in the Midwest and will mainly service clients the area. That includes: AR, CO, IA, IL, Western IN,KS,KY, MI, MN, MO,ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, Western PA, SD, TX, UT, WI, WV and WY.

Before joining Erlab, Ms Qiu earned a Master of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis and a BA of Architecture at Southeastern University in China. She has since worked at architectural firms such as Cannon Design which is recognized for design excellence and technological innovation, and has been involved in several building projects spanning from office buildings to Museums to University and K-12 buildings.

 She has designed numerous Science & Technology Laboratories including: Monsanto Research Center, St. Louis University Edward Doisy Research Center, Washington University Biomedical Research Building One, Human Performance Wing for Wright Patterson Air Force Base; the Structural Biology Center at the University of Kansas, and Teaching labs at Washburn University – to name a few.

Ms. Qiu is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA),  a LEED Accredited Professional ; the U.S. Green Building Council’s rating standard for green buildings,  and is also a CSI Construction Documents Technologist (CDT).
